SteadyGo were asked to re-build their website with a contemporary new design and optimised site structure that would serve as a first port of call for local business owners and government officials.
We analysed the existing GA profile and used Hotjar session recordings to understand how users were navigating the website. This helped us identify pain points in the user journey.
Next our team carried out an in-depth review of the website user personas, what they needed from the site and what their end goals are, so we could map out the new information architecture and page layouts.
By working closely with their branding agency, we incorporated the new brand guidelines into the website to bring a fresh new look and feel.
The website was built in the Umbraco 8 CMS and we made sure that every single content aspect of the website could be content managed by the client.
We introduced a right-hand side navigation on routing pages. This helped users find related content, useful links and contact details really quickly.
Finally, we added a powerful IntelliSense site search function using Examine to deliver quick and relevant search results for a several content types including videos, reports & documents and page content.
